When it all points to race, RUN!

Updated: May 28, 2020

Look out, here goes another "Justice for the black dude โœŠ๐Ÿพ because white guys in a similar situation got off easier" post. Don't you just love those?

Imagine having to write it.

Nevertheless, do you remember when that 20-year-old college student Albert Wilson was fucked yet apparently no one could prove he had sex ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ? Many of us feel it's because he's black.

Truth told, I too dislike when things are automatically taken to this "race" extreme, where skin tones constantly cause a rift in society. The world seems stuck in its inability to overcome culturally colorful differences. It's almost as if we don't wish to advance as human beings.

We'd rather keep going backward, preferring to stay sweet Lil sheep ๐Ÿ‘, sleep ๐Ÿ’ค.

I just cannot deny that this case is upsetting particularly because yet another black man is caught up in a system that consistently shows it's true colors.

Know that black isn't one of them.

In early October, a judge & jury found Wilson guilty of a rape which may or may not had taken place on September 11, 2018. Consequently, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison with lifetime probation.

Okay, a rapist SHOULD get this time, right? So what's the problem? read the case's affidavits.

Now a rapist actually caught IN THE ACT was only sentenced to 3 months. Yes in this case is a white guy. ๐Ÿค” Brock Turner, another college student, was caught having sex with an unconscious student behind a dumpster, where most rapes & murders tend to take place. See where I'm going?

Although not caught in the act, and no DNA, sperm or evidence of forced entry into the ๐Ÿˆ was detected via rape kit or physical evaluation when taken at the hospital a day after this alleged incident, Wilson was still convicted.

It was established that the victim and Wilson danced, flirted, & kissed ๐Ÿ˜˜ while in the club. By his account, he enticed parts of her, and she was willingly whisked off for more. She was not stumbling drunk, she did not need help, she was not carded ๐Ÿ’ณ๐Ÿ†” at the door.

Which of you men wants to go to a club dance with a woman, start rubbing underskirt, get excited, have her tell you, "yes, we can screw," only to find out she wasn't even old enough to get in.

If anyone were thinking with their dicks it was security at the door! They should be charged with reckless conduct and/or accessory to this "rape" as a result of allowing these underage girls in the club in the first place ๐Ÿ˜ก

Protect the girls AND the patrons, punk!

Surveillance footage shows the victim (17) and Wilson entering his home and leaving within 5 minutes.

Yes, he was in walking distance to the club. Yes, the women she may have gone with were probably still there.

Yes, most women would tell their girls or someone there, "Aye, this guy did not stop when I said stop" {except this phrase would likely follow mine, "let's go f him up". ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธโš”๏ธ๐Ÿน

Okay, there was a bruise on her thigh, I wasn't in the room, I can't say what happened. Plus I'm sure Wilson's court-appointed attorney has already attempted a hand at deflection.

There's just no way with only "she says" & no DNA or abrasions in/near her private parts could warrant 12 years and probation FOREVER!!! While the guy on the other team gets a Max of 6 months?

What am I missing? With its pattern of consistency, it HAS to be the race. Black men are constantly punished more harshly for the same crimes as their white counterparts.

We elect persons of color to represent our voice.

A voice for us in the midst of all the hate. A voice in the midst of this struggle for some form of Justice to prevail in this so-called land of the free home of the disconnected, discontented, democrazy.

A voice for us which isn't silenced by a whitewashed variant of the black perspective.

The fact that we have so many elected officials of color yet have not begun the process of changing laws to reflect actual equality is appalling.

I'm heartbroken at the state of us. I'm hurting for this young man.

It's even sadder because hundreds of other similar cases did not make the news. Thousands more will succumb to this systematic tyranny, and millions will not even give a d@mฯ€.
